At Izzy’s House, we provide sober living and recovery housing options for men and women across multiple Ohio communities. With a wide variety of locations, residents can find a supportive home that fits their needs while staying connected to recovery resources, employment opportunities, transportation, and the surrounding community.

Sober Living Homes for Men
Men in recovery can benefit from living in an environment surrounded by peers who understand the challenges and responsibilities that come with maintaining sobriety.
Izzy’s House offers several sober living homes specifically for men throughout Ohio. These homes provide more than a substance-free place to live. They are designed to encourage residents to develop routines, stay accountable, participate in their recovery, and work toward greater independence.
Our current locations include several homes designated for men in Dayton, Cincinnati, Sidney, and Lima.
Residents can become part of a supportive community while continuing to focus on personal goals, employment, recovery meetings, treatment recommendations, and other important parts of rebuilding their lives.
Sober Living Homes for Women
Women in recovery deserve access to an environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and empowered as they move forward.
Izzy’s House offers sober living options for women, including dedicated female housing as well as locations serving both men and women. Our Grand House in Dayton and E13 House in Cincinnati are designated for women, while additional housing options serving both men and women are available in Dayton and Lima.
Having multiple options allows individuals, families, treatment providers, and referral partners to explore housing based on location, individual circumstances, and availability.
Most importantly, our goal is to create an environment where residents can focus on recovery while developing the habits and skills needed for the future.
A Wide Variety of Sober Living Locations Across Ohio
Recovery needs can be different for everyone. Location can be an important part of choosing the right sober living environment, especially when considering employment, transportation, treatment, family connections, meetings, and other community resources.
That is why Izzy’s House offers a wide variety of sober living locations throughout Ohio.
Our recovery housing currently extends across four communities:
Dayton, Ohio: Izzy’s House offers multiple options in Dayton, including Harvard House, Vincent House, Manhattan House, Grand House, and Oxford Sober Living.
Cincinnati, Ohio: Our Cincinnati locations include Logan House, E13 House, Mitchell House, Clarion House, and Oak House.
Sidney, Ohio: Sidney House provides an additional sober living option for men seeking recovery housing outside Ohio’s larger metropolitan areas.

More Than a Place to Stay
Sober living is about much more than having a roof over your head. The right recovery environment should help residents establish structure, build connections, and gain the tools necessary to move forward.
At Izzy’s House, residents have access to services and resources designed to support their recovery journey.
Peer Support
Connecting with someone who understands recovery firsthand can be incredibly valuable. Peer support can help residents with transportation, getting connected with meetings, navigating everyday challenges, and learning from someone who has their own experience with recovery.
Case Management
Everyday responsibilities can become overwhelming during recovery. Our case management services help residents navigate important needs such as identification documents, licenses, insurance, food assistance, local resources, employment, and other essential services.
A Supportive Community
Recovery does not have to happen alone.
Izzy’s House works to create a community where residents can develop positive relationships and healthy routines. Family dinners, structured support meetings, guest speakers, household activities, employment opportunities, and everyday accountability can all contribute to a stronger foundation for recovery.
Building Structure and Accountability in Recovery
One of the biggest benefits of sober living is structure.
Moving directly from a highly structured treatment environment into completely independent living can be challenging. Recovery housing can help create an important bridge by providing residents with greater independence while maintaining expectations and accountability.
Depending on the Izzy’s House location and program, residents may participate in weekly house meetings, sober support meetings, treatment recommendations, aftercare requirements, and substance screening.
These expectations are not simply rules. They help residents establish routines and behaviors that can support long-term independence.
Finding the Right Sober Living Home
Choosing a sober living home is a personal decision. The right environment should support your recovery while helping you move toward the life you want to build.
When considering a recovery home, think about factors such as:
- Whether the home serves men, women, or couples
- Proximity to work or potential employment
- Transportation access
- Nearby treatment and recovery resources
- Community and peer support
- Household structure and expectations
- Opportunities to develop greater independence
With locations throughout Dayton, Cincinnati, Sidney, and Lima, Izzy’s House gives individuals and families multiple options when searching for supportive sober living in Ohio.
